I'm Sunny Snaith (your Renegade Grammarian) and
I thought I'd share with you how I first became
acquainted with the Green M&M's legendary powers.

Way back in the 70's (or early 80's) there was
an M&M commercial with kids on a Little League
team eating different colors for different
results -- the green one was for a "home run",
which in common slang indicated having sex.
Soon the Green M&M became synonymous with sex.

That's how I remember it, anyway.
